You will need:
2 c. peanut butter (creamy)
1 can condensed milk
1/2 c. of confectioners sugar
2 c. of chocolate chips
Throw all your ingredients into a bowl.
Mix it real good. This takes about a minute.
It should look like this......kind of like dough.
I pop it into the frig for a half hour or so just to get it nice and cold.
It makes it easy to handle. Otherwise it will be difficult and messy to work with.
Once it's chilled, you can dig in. Grab off a small chunk of the pb mix.
Gently form it into a ball. It takes about 2 seconds.
You could also roll it in your hand. It's just like playdough.
I put them onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Once you are finished rolling put them back in the frig for a little bit.
Half hour or so is plenty.
When they are nice and chilled you can store them in a plastic bag in the freezer.
Serve them cold. They are awesome. They are not hard like a rock.
They can be eaten right out of the freezer.
The peanut butter keeps them soft-which is why the freezer is the best place for them.
I like to give them away as gifts. So I put them right into the container I will be giving them away in and put'em in the freezer.
I don't take them out until I am ready to give them away.
I find that the little take out containers are perfect for this job.
Oh, and one more very important thing...save some for yourself!!!!!
Psst....if you want good directions on the real deal Peanut Butter Balls,
check out Libbie Grove. Okay, I gotta run,....down to the freezer.....
